Look at the level of detail on this girl especially her hair which looks like individual pieces rathers than the spiky cone shapes used before. Some of the most impressive visuals I have seen from a PS3 game so far.

The first one is real time, its the second one that CG, of course, you dont care about this game most likely and just entered to try to diss people. Anyway, most of the people following the game know that most of the old pics were in game graphics.

Thats still pretty damn impressive and it's probably improved tenfold since E3. Same with heavenly sword. I've never liked any Final fantasy other then 7 but I might just have to buy both XIII and XIII Versus.

yeah, of course it's impressive. I just want to make sure people don't confuse CG and real-time, or they'll set themselves up for disappointment

To do that sort of mathmatical calculations on the hair in real time, on more then one charcter would more then likely overload the cpu :P

The first one i belive is real time though. Has more of a game less cgi look to it,. 

She looks different in both pics... the hair.

oh well, graphics aren't my thing.. good gameplay, good story and a likeable character goes a long way.

FF games have multiple range weapons, including guns.

What is the difference between FF13 and versus?  Those pics look nice, btw... and there is little difference between the in-game pic and the pre-rendered one.

Double barrel shotgun. (had to kill some marines on lvl 2 in a room but glad to always carry it with me) 

Wow if this game doesn't sell a couple million PS3's i don't know what will.****

i find it funny how good graphics make good games (no wonder GeOW's so overrated), but other than that FF13 looks very pretty can't wait to play it.
