Music is pretty good. People hate the theme because it's western pop, but the song by itself is good. I have the full soundtrack and it's some good stuff to listen to in my opinion.
It's more ambient than previous soundtracks, so there aren't as many tunes that stick in your head. That being said, the music is still very well done and I do love that battle theme
just like XII the music isn't memorable at all, the only music I can remember on top of my head is the battle music but if ya hear one song that many times it is bound to get somthing stuck in there for a while

I fully agree with this. There are a few tracks that I can't stand after awhile (the Pulse Chocobo theme for one), but overall it's a great soundtrack.
Not up to scratch. Probably my least favourite FF soundtrack next to VIII. The Fabula Nova Crystallis theme is boring and does your head in after so many hours. There some stand out pieces though...
I liked the song that isn't by Leona Lewis. Everything else is pretty meh. However, I like how there are some tunes with singing in them like when you go through the forest with Sazh and Vanille. Music isn't memorable but its never annoying.

Indeed, the one's you listed are the ones that stand out for me too. Still I thought it was leaps and bounds better than xii. Can't remember anything from that.
Just thought I'd point out that the song by Leona Lewis is quite short and part of it is in the background while the characters talk... so don't let that ruin your opinion of the music, it is only played once :P
