The the final track on Guitar Hero 3 is "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" by the Charlie Daniels Band. For those of you who don't know,it's a country song more than a rock song and the stand out instument is not a guitar but a fiddle. It's not a bad song but a strange choice for Guitar Hero. IMO
When I heard the news this was the final song I was a little aprehensive. I mean we go from Free Bird to this?
After hearing the re-done track I'm feeling confused. It was remade with more of a metal sound and the fiddle was replaced by a guitar. It's not a bad song per-say but I'm not a fan of butchering original songs to make them fit into the game. At least all of the prior "as made famous by" tracks tried to get close to the original song.
