FINALLY DivX support for PS3!!??

I think ps3 will finally have DivX support now. People have been saying Sony will never give the ps3 divx support for so long, i was pretty depressed about it. I hope this is true and sony includes it in the next update.

Why not just stream your videos with TVersity or Nero MediaHome? Then you can play whatever format you want.boofa_2001

Because when you're streaming it the quality seriously SUCKS.

This update should've been included in the 2.0 update, that would've been a big deal, unlike the crappy 2.0 update we all got.

WOW they come thru 720p!? How do u do that. I use TVersity and FFDShow for all the codecs. What do you use?

Not that it matters after we get the update with divx support.

And to the person who asked about Xvid, i read that if you have DivX support you can play Xvids as well.
