Finally going to buy a PS3, any game recommendations?

Hey everyone, finally going to be buying a PS3 within the next few days, and I need some game recommendations. =) I love everything from RPG to shooter, and, well, just about everything aside from sports/racing games. Please keep it to console exclusives for this thread though. Also, I'd like to keep it to things that are already out, so I can buy them when I get the console, but if there's something upcoming you really think looks great, and think I should keep my eye on, then don't be shy about pointing those out.

Metal Gear Solid 4. It's the single best campaign experience I've ever had.

Even if there was more video then game play. Check out Killzone 2, It's not as good as some other shooters out there but it's still fun and the graphics are kick ass. There is more but just wanted to point out these 2 for you.

I have a weird situation with MGS4, and I can't quite decide if I want to buy it. Now, try and look at this through my eyes. MGS3, I bought it, and I completely hate it, everything about it. I hate the way the story is presented, I hate the characters, I hate everything about the gameplay. I can say, without a doubt, that MGS3 is my least favorite game of all time. And here's where the big problem is, every person I ask about MGS4 will also tell me MGS3 is a good game.
