Its been a long wait, but ive finally got a ps3 for my b-day. This is an awsome machine and the blue ray is SO clear on ur TV its rediculous. I was starting to get cold feet after reading allot of negative posts but i decided to get one anyways and i am so glad i did so because the ps3 has surpased all my expectations. Im verry happy to say that its well worth the 600+ tax that i payed for it. Resistance ROCKS! campaign and multi is way better than gears IMO.

good for you, i was psyched to and well worth the money, but i live in Oregon where there is no sales tax, so it was $599.99 for me:P

Resistance is the best FPS out there right now, and it's only the beginning. At 17 gigs I think it's the biggest game out for any console yet, and that's why it's got so much depth and detail. I'm looking forward to the second generation and beyond of PS3 games which will use up to 50 gigs and really set the bar for how next gen gaming should be.
