Hi everyone.
I finally got a PS3 on friday. I went to Gamestation (in the UK). Traded in my premium 360, 6 games : GH2 with controller, GH3, COD4, Bioshock, PGR4, Burnout Paradise, Vision Camera, play & charge kit, messenger chat pad kit. They gave me £334 store credit to use on getting a new PS3. I ended up paying £5 to trade all that in for a 40GB PS3, i got Motorstorm & Uncharted with it (plus free bluray film Spiderman 3).
Signed up to the PSN no trouble. Easier than signing up for Xbox Live IMO. So far i've downloaded a few playable demos and a few free themes. Only thing that seems strange is how you pay for extra content/old games etc, using your bank account/credit card. Wouldnt it be good if they released a voucher scheme to pay for online stuff like on Xbox Live (for people who dont have a credit or debit card)? i have these to pay for online purchases but so far have refrained from putting my details in!
My opinion so far is the PS3 is very good. Motorstorm looks superb, its quite hard at first, but once you play it a good few times and work out the best routes to the race makes it easier to win. Uncharted is also good, kinda reminds me of Tomb Raider/Indiana Jones.
A few questions....
How many friends can you add upto?
Will any blue tooth headset work or do they have to be game related version?
