I go to my local Best Buy today just to casually browse for some 360 games which I bought last week. I had been saving up for a ps3 but since my local stores never had them in stock I finally gave in and bought a 360. In contrast to what people have been saying for months that there are stacks of ps3's collecting dust, it was my first time seeing a ps3 in a store. There were 2 lonely ps3's sitting there with a cartful of sixaxis controllers next to it. I don't regret buying a 360 becasue I love it but if those ps3 were there a week earlier I would've bought one instead. Oh well, but I have already started saving up for a ps3.
lol yeah i almost gave in to buying a xbox 360 until i came across the same situation, i got the last 60 gig. ps3. you problably made the right choice buying the 360, theres no games for the ps3 yet. i love my ps3 but i wouldn't mind owning a 360 for now....to keep me from boredom

Wait for the price drop that will be rapidly approaching, regardless of what sony says. Because if they keep the same 599.99 price through the holidays they won't last, 360 is going to drop and I expect Ps3 to do the same to keep up!
Yeah, I had a 360 and Hd-DVD player but sold it due to the BluRay player on the PS3 and couldn't justify keeping two expensive consoles. There aren't really fun, exclusive games on the PS3, though I think Motorstorm will change that (demo is fun).
E_GAD hes right you DO have to ask the clerk cause they are never on display...funny though EBs ALWAYS has at least 2 PS3's but Best Buy, Circuit City, Walmart never has them

I have a PS3 and i was considering buying a 360 before it, but honestly the thing that didn't allow me to get it was the lack of games the 360 had. My friend had GOW, and recently bought lost planet. Honestly, without any bias, those are the only exclusive games that i would buy for the 360. In other words, i didn't cave in to it and waited.

I think you should have kept your original set-up, I'm enjoying that part of mine much more right now. You will be happy with the ps3 in the future though. Seems like you had plenty of time to wait on buying the ps3 though and could have just owned them both. Oh well, as long as your enjoying what you have, that's what matters.
yeah, ps3's were everywhere here, but suddenly over the last month, the steady shipments are selling out instantly, yet again....f*ck tax season, haha.
I work at walmart and we neevr sold out of Ps3's they are just not that popular in Pittbsurgh I saw like two people come in and they brought two a piece and I didn't see anybody else get one and we still have them I want a wii anyways I already have a 360 so graphic wise im good for now but I want something different
