Anyone know if Sony plans on letting us play side loaded music through the XMB while in a game...like on XBOX? I would be about 50% more effective at COD4 if I had some metal playing in the background.

theres a sticky about this, and it depends on if devs patch the current games and put it in upcoming games
Developers of games have to patch the game to allow music playback during gameplay. One game that allows this is Burnout Paradise Freeburn Mode(Online).
