My first game played was Tank on Atari 2600. My first PlayStation game was Final Fantasy Tactics on PlayStation One.

don't remember the exact name, but it was a golf game on the Commodore 64, lol. my dad loved that game, and that was my introduction to gaming. wasn't long before th c64 was in my room, with a host of racing/action/adventure games.......until I got my first nes....jnjreams76

I think I do remember... a PC game called Torins Passage. It was hard as hell.

Sonic The Hedgehog for Sega Genesis. It still holds a special place in my heart. Back then I wasn't much in to games. It was Pokemon Yellow and my Game Boy Color that got me in to games. I didn't get back in to Console gaming after the Genesis and NES days, and briefly the N64, until 2008 with CoD4 on the 360.

I guess we're talking any system here, so my first game EVER wasn't on any console...it was a handheld game called "Space Invaders". My FIRST CONSOLE game would be Super Mario Bros for the NES.

EDIT : I'm always surprised at how "not young" the PS3 community is on GS. I always feel "old" for a gamer because I'm a high school substitute teacher, but in fact I'm only 24 and I know most people here might be older than I am.

Ok. Playstation only? Well, my first PS1 game was the demo that came with it & had Jet Moto & other games (Crash Bandicoot) on it. Now...my FIRST FULL GAME was FF7.

First game ever was probably on the Atari 2600, dont remember what game though.
