first RPG ever played?

this is more for ppl who started on 3D rpgs (ps1) because after years of gaming, going into an rpg like that was a totally fresh experience. mine was FF8...one of my all time favorite games.

Final Fantasy 8 but I didn't finish it because my copy is in Japanese and I couldn't understand a thing. My favorite RPG is Final Fantasy X.Star650

Baldurs Gate. thats the game that started me off on RPGs

final fantasy 7, i remember getting it with my ps1 at first i never liked it, but then i learned to read lol and nw its my fav number 1 game ever always will be.

zelda is not an RPG is an action, adventure. loads of ppl thinks its an rpg when its not. still a good game tho

Well thanks to my sister she got a friends FF7 and i saw it and started playing,iloved it so much i kept playing till i finished it and FF7 went on to be my favorite game of all time.

oh and i would like to mention the other games that come close to my fav(FF7) are:MGS4 and FFIX

I thought that too, but people tell me it's a rpg. But that just confirms that FF7 is my favorite rpg.
