First Screens of Heavy Rain
It's from the same company that developed "Farenheit" 3 years ago. Look at the level detail, wonderful. I hope it's gonna be as cinematic as Farenheit was.

Yeah unfortuantly the Casting trailer has nothing to do with the final outcome, they were just portraying how close to reality they can replicate to get actual Actors/Actresses to be in the Game. But alas, this game looks promising. Theres another game that looks visually stunning it's called Mirror's Edge it was announced at E307.. and man it looks wonderful.

[QUOTE="chex81"]whats this game about? never heard of it. is it PS3 only?Tokyo90
Heavy Rain and yes its PS3 exclusive
Well it is published by Sony. The game definitely will look the business graphics-wise but we have yet to see any gameplay. No doubt the game is looking promising and Quantic Dream are talented developers who created the great but over-looked Fahrenheit game. Hopefully Heavy Rain should get a better response from gamers, I'm certain the game will be properly unvieled at E3 in July if not GDC in March.

alrighty, cool...thanks guys
i wish they would just give us more info already, both this and Afrika aren't getting any buzz really because nothing is known about them.

agreed...it hurts, especially exclusive titles, when they stay in the dark for so long...usually this doesn't mean good (for the game)

i know, they really need to start up with the "flaunt it ya got it" methodology. i mean this games look amazing, although they're pretty much nonexistent. i mean a trailer 3 years ago and a couple screens. come on!

trailers without gameplay are nothing more than hype magnets...but just like you said, when its 3 years old and the CG trailer looks on par with whats coming out nowadays as actual gameplay, its nothing.
i'm just about to download Indigo Prophecy (or Farenheit to some of you) from the Xbox Originals program on my 360. hopefully Heavy Rain is as...different as Indigo Prophecy. btw, does anybody actually know what HR will be about?fmobliv06
Nope not a lick of info on what the game is about, all we have is that trailer.at That to be honest I'm not holding out for the game to look that good, unless there is really nothing going on in the game so they could afford to puch that much into the detail of the characters.
