flashing red light CURSES!!!!!

argh just got a brand new TV was planning on enjoying call of duty modern warfare 2 and damn ps3 flashing red light of death worst part not a free repair 150 dollars ARGH

curse you sony curse you sony why cant you have free repairs like microsoft when my xbox died

Everyone I know says their Xbox broke at least once. Not to mention all the games it eats, God help all the Xbox owners.

OMG it just happen.. Nooo.. :cry:

i was playing MW2 and all of a sudden beep beep.. wtf.. and it just turns off.. then those stupid red lights keep blinking over and over again.. so i turn off my ps3 and turn it back on, touch the power.. green.. yay!! thank god.. :).. but then yellow...:| and a red light flashed after.. :?.. this sucks so bad.. :(

well i for one can say...i got my 60 gb ps3 in november of 2006 and never ever had to get it repaired or buy a new one....i guess i'm one of the lucky ones

I don't really care about your PS3 to be honest... My ps3 is just fine and even if it messed up, I doubt I would come here to complain about it on GameSpot. Assassin1349

i agree and if my ps3 broke i would probably just buy a new one i don't care too much for the slim models or get my old one repaired

should i try and turn it on or leave it off.. cuz im thinking my ps3 just overheated and it just needs to cool down.. Any suggestions??

let it cool, other than that not much can helo you, i heard there's a way to fix it but it i just temporary, if it doesen't work after a while you're done. Try playing less hours and leave your ps3 in a less cramped area

I have a 40 gb.. i had it for a while..

My Bro has a PS3 Phat 80gigs. and I must know if this is the Slim or the Phat because some of the problems we face is that the PS3 Freezes at sometimes when playing a game.

other than that it works fine.
