i recently stopped letting my ps3 fold @ home. the fan always got really loud while folding, and when trying to exit out of folding it would always freeze and I would have to switch the ps3 off. Since I stopped folding neither have been a problem. has this happened to anyone else?

You may need to do some cleaning now. I also leave my system on all the time folding and found that cleaning the system when the fan kicks up to a higher does wonders at keeping things cooler.

after i stopped folding i haven't had a fan problem yet. my ps3 has endured me playing mgs4 on it for hours of nonstop play with jet engine fan effect. who knows... i just won't let it fold anymore. no stupid cancer research is gonna screw with video games! dammit!

Happens to mine a fair bit. The freezing when exiting folding I mean. Other than that, not a problem to speak of.
