Look, I'm going to start this topic off with a confession: Genji DOTB sucked. But Japan Studio and Game Republic's next work is infinitely better than its predecessor, IMO.
I just finished the demo, having played it through as both main characters, through the 2 demo levels. Firstly, Id like to point out that there's a generous dollop of demo there. It kept me entertained for a long time.
I have to say that the game, from an artistic point of view, looks absolutely stunning, with really nice graphics all round, and it hadn't any technical hiccoughs, such as drops in frame rates.
It was very fun, but that's only my opinion of course. The controls seemed to be almost perfect, extremely responsive, with the buttons being mapped out well, the X O ^ [] buttons being completely customisable to fit the game, and also the SIXAXIS controls were very sensitive to my actions, but not so much as to trigger a false alarm.
There are some great 'Folks', which are enemies, but you can also use them in battle, when you capture their 'IDs' (a kind of red soul), and the 2 boss battles were thought puzzling and challenging, but not in a way to put you off playing. There are ways to level up the Folks, so there's plenty to do. Navigation is easy too, thanks to the handy minimap.
I'm curious as to whether anybody else has played it, as it's so incredibly worth downloading and taking for a spin! You can get it if you have a UK PSN account, I don't know about other territories.
