Folklore... hot or not?

I rented it, played it for about 2 hours and gave up. Not a fan of the gameplay AT ALL. The story seemed okay, but I'd rather watch a good animated movie than deal with Folklore. I'm also a fan of RPG's and action/RPG's, so it's not the style of game that turned me off.

mediocre .... lest just say when i bet all my other ps3 games i will play this game. ... and if you dont play this game for a while i found it hard to find my way. I like the interesting concepts though.

It's not for anyone , first the story is great! Mysterious murders leading to more murders in the village and you have to investigate it in the netherworld talking to the soul of the dead people.For me it is HOT since I loved the story and collecting folks and I beat up the game I had all the folks karma yet to be released and many quests to do.Even when u finish releasing karmas and doing quests u still have the dungeon trials.ITs awesome I bet that everbody that said "its a bad game" didn't play it for over 2 hours.Cuz the beggining has nothin to do with the rest of the game .

I didnt have many slow loading times when I installed it.

I really enjoy this game, but im one of those people who likes to collect everything! Im only planning to play it through with Ellen atm, becausei dont have time to properly play atm.

It has some nice addon packs from PSN which are ok, the free folk are worth getting as they are pretty useful. Ellen gets new costumes, and some just look fantastic! :P

The story is ok, the dialogue is weak, not liek your favorite book, but entertaining. Im at chapter 4 with Ellen, i dont play it everday so i forget bits so the mystry part is still there. I dont know if it is actually possible to solve it before you finish, but we shall see!

Folklore is not great, but an ok game.

I like the gameplay, but didn't like much the story and having to play both characters in the same chapters to have access to last chapter with either of the characters.

Neither hot nor not...

It is an OK game, good buy for 30$ or less. Good use of sixaxis, nice story, but very very veryrepetitive and not deep at all.
