Im buying this game straight up. When is it released in Japan, this may be the first game i import since Us wont be getting it any time soon.

Impressions: This game is simply fun. The graphics are GORGEOUS. And the use of the sixaxis motion to literally pull the souls out of the monsters is very well done and solid.

Anyone else who has played what are your thoughts.

I just played the demo as well.

I won't comment on the graphics as of now, because I have my PS3 hooked up to my SDTV. Gonna plug it back to the HD one tomorrow. But the visuals are fine already; rich colors, very vibrant.

To be honest I didn't expect anything from this game and just watching videos of it so far never gave me a good enough impression to judge this title in advance. A few days back I said "either this game is will be really cool, or it will suck big time".

Now after I played it: It's really cool!

I'm surprised, I didn't expect it to be this fun. The combat system seems to go very deep with all the different kind of monster souls you can use. And yeah, the soul sucking part is pretty nice, having to swing back the controler just fits perfectly to the action.

I definately want to see more of this game.

Yep, I'm using Play Asia to get that Gundam game they got too... looks like the best Gundam that ever came out, actually seems more like the cartoons.

what is it with these PS3 games coming out the day before my birthday?(Ninja Gaiden Sigma,This game,Rainbow Six Vegas,Darkness),am i being watched by someone?........hmmm is there a hidden camera in my PS3?.....wow this folksoul demo is sure taking its time downloading........is my sandwich done?.........why is my PS2 on?.............Am I real or Am I a dream lost in reality?.......

I have the Japanese version of Genji (because I'm living in China and it was all I could get) and it was all in Japanese (menus, voices and text) but after trying several things I was able to get the in game text into English so i could at least understand the story but I still didn't understand what all the items I picked up were used for (except for easy ones, like healing potions).

Based on that I would assume you will be able to read thru the story even if it's all spoken in Japanese and u said the menus are already in English in the demo.

I had made a Hong Kong account to check out the Japan store but got tired of always having to pick which user to use at start up when i just wanted it to quick start to a game, so I deleted it. Is it possible to make one user auto start and if i want to choose my other user name I can just decide to do so after?

Good advice... I think it's not coming out until the fall which is why I was going to import it, but perhaps it will be good to wait for a localized version.

i know this is off the topic but can anyone please tell me how to change my online name on the ps3 i been trying 2 change it for months.please someone helpps3-4-life

you just need to create a new user (on the left) and then log in as that user and sign up for psn again (on the right) and this time use a different email address and enter your new PSN name
