Folksoul sells out on First day!

However Sony only shipped 7k copies, so it was unfortuanately supply constrained...
Japanese retailers have reported that there is a high demand for the game and it has received more than 20k preorders ...so hopefully we will be seeing atleast 50k sold by the end of the week.

It might move a few consoles too.

That's strange. Why would they only ship 7000? That doesn't sound right. RurouniSaiyajin

Agreed- either they had some strange manufacturing problems or this is a bizarre PR stunt.

Hopefully this game can start moving some units in Japan.

Still, there HAS been a lot of talk about Folksoul... surprised you haven't heard about it yet. It's the first high quality, exclusive rpg coming to the ps3.

i thought the demo was awesome

If they had 20k preoorders, why would they only ship 7k. It doesn't make sense!azad_champ

Retailers expected the game to flop and only ordered 7k copies -> however since then they have recieved 20k pre-orders and therefore more copies ( like 30 - 40k ) are being shipped to retailers as we speak ...

Isnt it called FolkLore? Havent heard that much about it so I decided to check it out and I think it could be a great game if executed expertly.Multi-Alias

Releaseing in the same month as Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a awful idea.

People who could only afford 1 game will choose NGS. =/

Maybe but I think having a bunch of games releasing close together can create a buzz and those who do not have a PS3 in JPN will go out and buy one.

7k or even 20k isn't that much. Not that these games were expected to sell a lot. Hot Shots Golf on the other hand is expected to sell a lot. Last I heard the preorders were at 200k, and Sony has a nice bundle sale going on it as well. Trusty Bell being bundled with the 360 helped them sell some consoles

I actually did not mean the search topic bar but the search bar above that one :P (because you wanted info on a game not find a topic)

But you are right I never really used it because I tried searching with it twice found absolutly nothing and gave up :P
