I'm more looking forward to NBA 2K8. Between the hot spots, the dunk competition and everything else that the 2K series has, I'll most likelybe picking up that game.
NBA 2K8 is by far the best basketball franchise gaming wise...
NBA Live 08 has made improvements but it still isn't close to 2K8...
NBA 08 is a distant 3rd, the gameplay is terrible as are the graphics compared to 2K and Live...

IMHO, although 2K8 may have some decent graphics, it doesn't make me feel like I'm watching somebody actually playing ball, but more like I'm just controlling them with a joystick, and that's a big deal to me when I'm playing. I like to feel like I'm watching an actual basketball game rather than just playing one.

2k basketball does that better than anyone else.

Besides the worst commentating out of all 3 franchise, 2k series is the best basketball sim out there. It plays most realistically, it looks most realistic, and most of real basketball plays work on their game. Only thing we can ask for my on that series is sound, which they are really horrible at it. Other than that, they offer the best at the year their games are released.
