For PS3 Owners, What do you guys think about Mass Effect?

dont really care for it

i am a fan of RPGs, but this seems like a shooter that just wants to be an RPG, my first impression was a LAME A.. video that was supposed to show the details and conversations and what not, and it was really lame, so it stuck with me thats what i think of it lol

Mass Effect (+ Too Human, and a few other exclusives) is the main reason why it was so hard to choose between the 360, and the PS3. Bioware games are always amazing.

I hope there will be a pc version at some point. Like with Jade Empire.

Too Human is different and more of my type. I like Norse based stories more than star wars and star trek stuff and that turns me off really well so even If I had a 360. I'd get Lost Odysee and too human but not mass effect.

lol, because there's just so many "norse based" games these days...

I'll be picking it up on release, RPG'ing looks nice, the combat abit less... Maybe i'm wrong either way it looks like a good AA game. I'm not sure about all this 'comming to PS3' stuff, i think even though EA got control of the devs its still wraped up in a contract with MS, maybe the sequels will be on PS3, but seeing as i'm gettig the 1st on 360 i'll most likly continue on that platform unless on PS3 theres some kind of mega bonuses... its pretty much why PS3 owners dont want to see MGS and DMC go multiplat; it was best on PS before, and should stay at home, 360 owners would say the same if Masse Effect 2 went PS3...

You can't blame some of the guys for their responses....if it was a Ps3 exclusive and itwas posted on the 360 boards guess what?? You would get the same response.

Oh well bioware did sell them selves to EA and now EA holds the rights to mass effect :D

Got a 360 and a Ps3, however, I don't plan on getting this title before I really get some convincing persuasion.. The combat in the game looks awfully 'slow' and.. I don't know, clumsy?.. Anyway, it's probably a good title, but I reckon I'll let a demo decide for me, and if one not coming out, I gotta find someone with the game so I can try it out..

Bioware seems to be all high on how the "faces" are.. they might be pretty rendered and such, but their expressions seems awfully.. For instance Oblivion even though it's less graphics (facewise) the people seems much more believable than the footage released from Mass Effect..

Anyway as I said, it'll probably turn out to be a good game, I'm just not convinced..

looks pretty good if your into that style of RPG.

i like eastern rpgs more than western, so im not that interested in it. tho i might pick it up if it were to come to the ps3.

Its coming out on a system I have so I have nothing to worry about. I am picking this game up on day one.

I pretty much want it...alot.

Right now I use my 360 more than my PS3, but I have absolutly zero interest in Mass Effect, I was never a fan of KOTOR. I think PS3 can do particularly well without it. FF13 and Versus look incredible, and I think I'll gladly save my money for those over Mass Effect.

I'm still on the fence for Mass Effect... I like shooters but this one doesn't look like anything special... As for Too Human that game just looks whack for the most part..... it's Microsofts whack version of God of War lol :) but i guess i would buy Mass Effect since the story is supposedly so epic... but the only way i'd buy a 360 is if the next kingdom hearts game became 360 exclusive

I might pick up the pc version when thats out or if EA port it to ps3 ill get it if it works

Honestly Mass Effect is tempting me to buy an XBOX360.. just for this game. I couldn't care less about the other exclusives on it.

I wouldn't count on ME coming to PS3 though, since it's developed by a microsoft studio, much like Halo3 was... so..
