man i dont know what that could be..... but did you ever have the problem where whatever your trying to download doesnt continue downloading while your playing a game or watching a movie?
Do you have an external hard drive? If so, are you trying to download straight to it? I believe you can't do a background download if you save it straight to an external drive.
if ur talking about downloading background from the browser instead of clicking on the link go to the link and press triangle. file setting then save target. Hopefully that fix the problem, if not I did my best.
