A quicker way to turn the system off instead of always having to go to the XMB menu and "safely" turn it off from there. What do you want?

Man just hold the PS button, select "Turn System Off" and then select "Yes". That was pretty simple for a PS4...
And to answer the thread, I'd like more and better RPGs
Always thought that a strip pole on top of the ps3 will be a perfect feauture:D

This man speaks teh truth.
How about a new controller? Over the past year I've found the Dualshock 3 to be uncomfortable, causing my hand to cramp up. On the other hand I find the 360's controller to be perfect, with the exception of the less than adequate d-pad. Nevertheless, I already made up my mind that I'm not getting the PS4 if Sony doesn't change the controller in some way.
I would want faster downloads from the PSN, when I had 50mb/s with Virgin, the MAG demo at 5G took me nearly 3 hours to download. I would want them on par with XBL.
Also I can't help but lol at the estimated speed tests the PS3 gives you, 5.5 down and 1.1 up?? not even 1/4 of what I have.
Backwards compatible with some decent exclusives releasing at launch and/or the first year that it's out.
Also, it would be nice to see some of the JRPG gaming market migrate its way back to consoles instead of staying on handhelds :D
Well why I didn't include backwards compatibly is that i don't really wanna play ps3 games for ps4 i wanna play ps4 games thats why i got the system. So if it doesn't have that i won't care. Faster downloads is a real problem i mean 1 hour and 30 mins goes by to download a game of the year edition gameNew xmb menu well why not new system new menu sounds right to me. I agree with the poster posting about Jrpgs making a comeback to consoles. would like to see that happen. Or at least more then whats been happening but no more turn based stuff I do think there needs to be a change. Just i don't even know what i want to happen to be honest as a consumer so I can only image what the jrpg people go through.
No I mean like, when you quit a game you always have to go to "turn off system" in the xmb menu instead of just turning it off from the back by the switch. Because if you do turn it off by the switch in the back, the next time you turn it on, you'll get that please turn off the system by bla bla bla properly, yadda yadda yadda. :Pdarkman006u can just hold the ps button on ur controller and choose quit...
The ability to download while watching DVDs or blurays and the option of more background tasks being carried out such as installing new software or copy and pasting things files across,passion_shades
u would think with the much praised cell with all of its multi tasking ability that sony was talkin about should be able to do that...i know that on a 32 single core u could watch a dvd and download at the same time O.o lolz

You gotta be kidding...
Anyway I just want it to be more powerful. Powerful enough so that the bare minimum for games is to run at full 1080P and 30FPS with no tearing - of course with the better optimized games running at 60FPS. I don't want for it to be an option for the poorly optimized games to be 720P or have screen tearing, or whatever. Make it MANDATORY.
I also hope they retain blu-ray (I'm pretty sure they will, but lets make it a 8x drive this time), and PS4 probably needs a faster/bigger HDD but I think the blu-ray and HDD are a given.
