For the Real comparison

none of the games looked white washed for the ps3 and you can see them in 720p and 1080p on ps3 and 360. knock yourself out.....

I think anyone with a brain would agree that EG comparison is a lot more accurate then GS.

wow now ps3 looks much better than at the GS comparison look at virtua tennis 3. NFS also looks good.

How is gamespot bias? If you take time to read the reviews on Gamespot and Eurogamer then you will notice that there's not much difference.

I compared the PS3 v 360 game review for Gamespot and Eurogamer. I only picked games that was reveiwed by both sites.

Virtura Tennis. - Gamespot and Eurogamer gave the same review for this game saying that the PS3 and the 360 version are exactly the same graphic and gameplay. The only difference in their review was Eurogamer gave the advantage to the 360 version asthe 360 have online multiplayer option.

NBA Street Homecourt - Gamespot and Eurogamer gave the same review. The only difference was Eurogamer saying the 360 version was a touch better at 1080p.

Def Jam - Again gamespot and Eurogame gave the same review with both saying the 360 better at scaling, aliased and filter visuals.

Gamespot downscaled the PS3 graphics to 720p in it's comparison, which shows they actually whent out of their way to make the PS3 graphics not look their best(1080p looks so much better).

For most of the PS3 launch titles, they have a lower WE SAY score, the YOU SAY score and the THEY SAY scores tend to be higher for most of the PS3 titles, for the Xbox, the WE SAY score tends to be the highest, which means the rest of the world is thinking they underrate the PS3 titles, and overrate the 360 titles, that's why they're biassed.

IF you looked at the images properly you would see that they do compare both consoles at 720p and there is no difference, except for need for speed, that looks better on the PS3

They are almost Identical, except that the 360 has a darker defualt contrast than the PS3.

And they use 720p to make it fair, because your jugding the graphical difference between the two not the resolution, Im sure theyll use 1080p soon since the 360 has just started to make games for that res.

I see no reason to argue over this, since most of the games have framerate issues for the PS3.

Im just pointing out what GS failed to do when it compaired the games. its funny really because on the comparison page 360fanboys slate ps3 for every one of the little fake details that manages to look better on the 360. Now the shoe is on the other foot it does not matter about the difference.

dont sit there and tell me GS didnt fail anything, and it was this thread that helped blow GS comparison out of the water. Game spot had doctored the pictures to look better on the 360 then on the PS3. so as an indepent computer website it failed to give an objective view.

None of the game for the PS3 look white washed at all, and i was also the owner of both consoles (i say was because guess what? my 360 broke for the third time so i had enough). It was not me that started the comparison about the consoles but i dont see why i should stand by and watch Game Spot lie about how under detailed the ps3 is to the 360, i mentioned the call of duty pic because as always GS and fanboys were going on about the lack of detail in COD3, when infact if you look at the soldiers in the ps3 version they have more detail.

Alot of the people who own a playstation also believe that gamespots comparison is very inaccurate and all i have done is provide them with a more accurate comparison. I was not compairing consoles, i was more so comparing gamespot with an unbiast website that has givin a more accurate comparison then gamespot

Thats just coinsidence, gamespot have underated a lot of my 360 games but either way its an opinion.

You guys need to get back down to earth, theres no conspiracy to bring down sony infact almost every gamer owned and loves their PS1 and PS2.

WOW fighting over this, i think what this topic is trying to make sure that when people come onto gamespot and look at gs's comparisons that they realise that they aren't the truth.

Gamespot has failed themselves, by not showing and telling the truth, i have all 3 of the consoles and i admit i have over 30games for my 360 and only a few for my ps3, but i really did wanna see a comparison and on gs there pictures really did look awful on the ps3 which isn't true, they did something to them pictures because none of my games are that white washed at all, and i have the games they were showing, why fight over something wot is true on this topic that they were baised in the comparison, fanboys or not, you must be stupid to not look at them pictures and think thats what they look like, the person who made this isn't taking a dig at 360 or nothing, there trying to get the point across that, they arent proper pictures of a pos3 at its highest standard but they put the 360 at the highest standard, which is baised and unfair and un professional for jornualism.

so i think the one reason this topic hasnt been pulled because the moderators r volunteers and probably agree that the truth needs to be told to give people who dont have either console at fair point of view from each not go with one.
