What's your charachter going to be like? I'll probably pick an imperial or a nord and specialize in combat.
http://www.oblivionportal.com/info/races.php- Here's some info on the different races.

Same never played the game, I dont know what classes there are, maybe an assassin or something?
I put a link to the different races. Check it out.Can someone tell me what is the knight of the nine expansion? is a new race or something?DannyGTKnights of the Nine is centered around a faction of the same name whose primary goal is to search and locate "Crusaders' Relics" which can be worn by the player. Membership in this faction is not automatic; first one must go on a pilgrimage across Cyrodiil to visit the shrines dedicated to the Nine Divines. Also when someone is a member of this faction, they must stay on the path of good at all times. The player cannot commit any crimes or do anything inherently evil or they must re-do the entire pilgrimage. This new faction also includes new characters, enemies and locations, one of these being the ancestral home of the Knights of the Nine which is in a state of decline. As the player completes quests for the Knights of the Nine, more people will hear of your heroic deeds, and will want to join you. These new recruits will then help you on your quests and eventually rebuild the Knights base.

I dont understand all the people are going to shell out money to purchase this game on the Ps3 at $60 bucks.. when probably every one of you have a PC that's semi capable of playing it, and the PC version is alot cheaper in price....
Because alot of people don't have a high end computer to enjoy the game.I dont understand all the people are going to shell out money to purchase this game on the Ps3 at $60 bucks.. when probably every one of you have a PC that's semi capable of playing it, and the PC version is alot cheaper in price....

I have been thinking a lot about what game will i buy for the PS3 (yes i live in europe...), and Obllivion should be just fine (i think). I have Oblivion for some time for PC but i havent finished it yet, besides, i havent played Knights of the Nine. My PC isnt exactly "the bomb"(*) for these over the edge games, and so i cant play the game with the video settings at maximun. Thats why ive been thinking about this, with the PS3 i would enjoy every bit of the game without lousy framerats and textures that should be cleaner.

Oblivion is one of the most demanding PC games out there so very few people have a capable system that can run it at the same quality as it can run on PS3 and Xbox 360.I dont understand all the people are going to shell out money to purchase this game on the Ps3 at $60 bucks.. when probably every one of you have a PC that's semi capable of playing it, and the PC version is alot cheaper in price....

I have finished Oblivion 3 times. An advise for the newcomers. Read the manual carefully so as to determine the exact character that fits you. And make him/her specified in a few things, not mediocre in many.Torous
