For those that own a PS3 and a PS3 only (as a main console)....

Everytime I'mon the PS3 forum, I see more and more people posting questions about the PS3 because they say they plan on buying one some time soon.

I'm satisfied with just having a PS3 (I paid 600 for the 60gb), but do any of you plan onor want to get one of the 'other' the systems sometime down the line? You know, like the 'other' console owners wanting a PS3 now.

I bought a Wii early on but I'm 90% sure I'm going to sell it. I won't buy a console-that-must-not-be-named until they stop charging for online play. Until then I'm satisfied with the free (and easily-arguably better) PSN.

PS3 keeps me entertained.

Nope, I get what I want.

Gran Turismo 5, Final Fantasy 13, Final Fantasy Versus 13, and a bunch of multiplats.

Oh, and the ability to import games without having to mod my system, already imported one. This time if they release an Initial D game to the playstation system, I'll be able to play it no problem.

I bought a PS3 and a Wii at launch.

My ps3 gets played daily, yet my Wii is just a $250 bowling machine.

I wont consider getting the other console since I cannot justify spending money on unreliable hardware. If I feel the need to play the MS exclusives, I will just wait until they come to PC like they always do.

My close friend has a Wii and unless you get really into the games and motions, its not fun. Like the other person said, I can just go out and play real football or bowling and have much more fun.

As for the 360, I'd really only want a couple of games like Halo and Gears. On the other hand, there are plenty of games on the PS3 that I just can't wait for like Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, the sequel to Kingdom Hearts, and the sequel to God of War. I'm also excited for Unreal Tournament 3, Killzone 2, Haze, Army of Two, and Crysis on the PS3 even though they may be on both consoles.

there is only about 2 or 3 games on the for other systems that i would really want to play besides that i could just use my pc or live without it. but the games to come exclusive to ps3 are must haves for me so i have to have the ps3. and i think i would think of getting another system if the ps3 was back on top but becuase its havinga bumby start i really just gotta be loyal cuz the numbers count right now. if you own both but favor ps3, ps numbers wont advance cuz you have both so things are even. thats why im holding off on anything else

i got the wii... and i deeply regret it...after i beat zelda it was fun for like a week(btw i got the wii key... so dont say i havent tried the good games)

and if there are any 360 exclusives i want... well i usually end up playing them on my pc with better graphics

I still have my dreamcast, 4 controllers, 6 vmu's and like 50 games.. lol

Before I had the PS3, I buyed a 360 just to try something different for once. Whaddyaknow, I ended up right back with Sony. 360 has too many defects to be taken seriously.. now I'm sticking with what I got and I'm glad I came back too..

The only console I have from this gen is the ps3. I've always considered buying the 360. Evenas recently as yesterday. In the end though i decide to stick with sony.

i already answered that question lol... i only have a 360 now... but if i could only choose one id go with ps3... when i get it.. it will be my "main" console... but yea... im not a fanboy of any console... but.....if i had to choose id go ps3... obviously not having all the consoles ur gonna be missing out... i plan on eventuall getting all 3... u cant go wrong with a system that supports hd movies out of the box :)

I know I'm going to get bashed for this, and I apologize ahead of time as I do not want to get anyone all bent out of shape. First off, I own a PS3 and am looking very much forward to a number of games. Loved my PS2, and loving my PS3, but I also *gasp* own a 360. Yes, I know. I can hear the boos and hisses from my computer already, but before you nail me for "trolling", please hear me out. I usually don't post in forums like this (usually just do passing ones in response to articles), but seeing the post by nosedive gave me the idea. I couldn't agree any more with the "fanboys must die" sentiment, as I am first and foremost a gamer and game lover before I am a system loyalist. I will not elaborate for fear of starting a big argument, but I would point out the falsehoods I see based on fanboyism. Im not even concerned with defending the 360, as I am not too happy with being on my 3rd system, while not having a single problem with my PS3, but I will mention that those saying that the only exclusives the 360 has are 1st person shooters are sadly biased and mistaken. As I said before, I am not looking for a fight or anything lame like that, so I will not take advantage of this time to point out all the 360 exclusives that are not 1st person shooters (just know there are plenty). If you really want to know what I'm talking about, feel free to ask. Im just out to kill fanboyism people. I am not "system-ist", and am color blind (Don't see XBox green or PS blue. Okay I own both a PS3 and a 360. And i got my ps3 on day one. and I have been a sony fan since the launch of the ps1. the reason i have both systems is cause they have games that i like to play. I play my ps3 more now cuz of warhawk. But to be blunt both systems have awesome games coming out. Ps3- uncharted,killzone2, and haze and the 360 has some good games too like im lookin forward to Mass Effect (which is an action/rpg). But i love my ps3 more. :P

@ Blindsided82: I seeexactly were ur comin from. I miss the good ol' 16-bit days when, instead of swapping insults, friends swapped systems.

As for the topic... I'll eventually get a Wii, then a 360. But right now I'm extremely happy w/ my PS3 and the games that I have (and will soon get).

Yup exactly.

FPS is my least favourite genre and the ps3 provides good enough games to keep me happy.
