What does that link prove? I saw nothing on that page that explained anything.
I think by flash backgrounds it somply means you can have a flash animation as a background?
So if someone wants to go ahead and make a 1920*1080 animated flash then cool!
But it's not going to happen, no one is THAT sad.

Well people are still doing walkthroughs to 70+ hour games(BG2, Oblivion etc.), if thats not sad I don't know what is(still neat though:D). so I think it will be done. Just give it time...

are you serious about the browser improvements?the memory limit has crippled the ps3 browser since it came out.ill check this out myself.still id ratehr use my pc to surf the web as a mouse and keyboard is faster.what do you mean by mini clips?
I must decide what game to buy and which one to rent.....so here we go.....is between haze(PS3) or Blacksite area 51(PS3).

anyways according to playstation uk site the update was just for ps3 software compatibility, nothing big.
*Update*
As Kotaku, Joystiq and others are pointing out, this update focuses on some PS3 compatibility and playability issues for select titles. A search site for looking up compatible titles is also in the works, as soon as it's live, I will try to post the link when it comes out for those who would like to know.
