For what reasons will you buy or not buy modern warfare 2

For me, i was'nt excited for another call of duty. After playing so much i got really bored of it. I recently played cod4 again and i realized how much fun it was to play. After playing other fps games, everything about cod4 was top notch.IM getting MW2for the new guns, maps, perks, killstreaks, and spec ops. I absolutely cannot wait for this game.

What are some reasons why you will or won't buy MW2 when it comes out?

i wont buy it because it is just another COD game and ive never seen what is so great about them and im just not a big FPS fan

nd since i got uncharted2 i have no money and have something better to play

I'll probably buy it used at some point but there's so much else I'd rather have at the moment it can wait. Plus they are screwing over the PC users of this game which I don't like at all and so don't want IW to have an extra sale. If they want to mess with what people want then the people need to show them it is not ok.

Even though i loved COD4 and will probably love MW2, im not prepared to pay £50 for it, no way.

I'm buying COD:MW2 (Prestige edition BTW) because I really enjoy the COD games a lot.

When I first played MW1 I loved it! I thought the story was well written and it was such a great fps experience for the campaign. Then I got online and ever since then I was in love with the online aspect too :P.

I loved MW1 it had a great story and the online was very fun. So far the only two games ive ever played where I enjoyed the online in them are Cod 4 and Uncharted 2. So I will be picking up MW2 im just not hyped up for it.

I'm not getting it. I'm just not interested in FPS war type games. I've played several before (which got outstanding reviews from Gamespot) and they're not my thing. More into sci-fi shooters, horror/survival, hell, anything except "realistic" war type stuff. The enemies are identical, the weapons are mundane, the environments usually aren't half as interesting as what I see when I look out my window. Meh.

Well Uncharted 2 was not that much radically different from Uncharted 1 but its still a good game. Uncharted 2 had only 4 new guns from the first and the story felt just like the first also but was more well written.

Cod4 had a great story and hopefully MW2 will have a great story as well, and yes you are right MW2 is not that different from Cod4 besides the fact it has new weapons and a different story.

Thing is you cant really use the excuse "its the same as the last" because all sequels are pretty much the same thing from the last installment. Unless the game radically changes things such as gameplay mechanics and maybe the entire story it is still the same as the last installment.

I'm not buying it because I don't really like it. I'll take SOCOM over MW any day of the week. My style of an online shooter I guess. Confrontation will hold me over until MAG and MAG will hold me over until SOCOM 4.

Well I played the crap out of CoD: World at War so i definitely wanted the next Call of Duty game. I also rented CoD4 and liked it a lot. I think the more modern weapons are easier to use, more accurate, and it is much easier to kill someone. so yeah i'm looking forward to MW2.SoNin360

wow i thought more people would want this game... i felt the same way. just another mw. then i played mw1 again and it reminded me of how great it was. That is why im going to get mw2

Buying it for the online. Most of my friends and I have moved on from CoD4 a while back but i can't wait to play online again.

I'm probably not getting it because I don't really like CoD's multiplayer which is kinda the main focus of those games.

I'll probably buy it used at some point but there's so much else I'd rather have at the moment it can wait. I'm not buying it because most FPS games boring as hell. The only FPS games I've found to be entertaining this gen are Team Fortress 2 and Bioshock.

It's the sequel to COD:4, the huge multiplayer additions and mostly the AC-130!

won't buy. because i got bored from FP games. the only reason i would buy the game is to play online with some friends.

Ridiculous price over here in the UK. £55. When normal releases are no more than £40.

Also, Activision wants to INCREASE prices over here in the UK. Once, they said that games over here should cost around £70.

They, are greedy bastards. Therefore, I am not going to support them. However, everyone is still going to buy it.... Which is bad concerning the RRP of games overhere.

i'll buy it on 360, cause that console allowed pirated games.. i only support PS3 exclusive because most of 1st and 2nd party developers taking advantage of PS3 hardware.

I have never bought a COD game and never will. I've played some of them, but I'm just not that into them. On PS2 I always preferred the MOH series and Battlefield 2. The next FPS I buy will more than likely be BF:BC 2 or MAG.

I'm technically getting it because it will be bundled with the Modern Warfare 2 Bundle I pre-ordered, but I plan on selling the game. I'm just so tired of the series. I just got that bundle because it was a good deal.

I won't be buying it new. if i could give Infinity Ward my money fine, but the business practices and the attitude of their publisher (Activision) have pissed me off that i don't want any of my dollars going to them.

I know it's futile, but even as just a gamer i stick to my principles.

I'll pick it up used, or buy it used off of eBay or Amazon.

I'm mostly excited for the story, the spec ops missions (the co-op stuff). i'm not super exicted about the multiplayer, but with all the different perk set up, i could very well be playing that game for a while.

of course, once i've done everything i wanna do in Fallout 3 GOTY, i'll go back to Uncharted 2.

what the hell is wrong with you people mw2 is gonna be the greatest game ever. no doubt about it i would get it no metter what price they selling it at!

MW1 was outstanding. I played that game almost a year but not every day, usually on weekend. I expect MW2 to be even better.
