Forget HAZE! This is the real Halo Killer

Before you read what I write, I just put Halo Killer to get people's attention. I don't think a game should be killed. Maybe NRA vermint hunter with its 7/100 rating from PC gamer and a 1 out of 10 from ign.

But other than that, if you own only a PS3 and you want an amazing multiplayer like Halo's get UNREAL TOURNAMENT 3! Seriously, I don't know why so many PS3 owners ignored it and went for HAZE instead. UT3 is faster than Halo 3, and they could be considered similar (JUMP JUMP JUMP).

UT3 got a 9/10 from IGN, 9/10 from Gameinformer, 8.5 from Gamespot (same score as Warhawk) etc....

The mods are ridiculous too. Play as Marcus Fenix, Cloud, Zack, Masterchief, Samus, Solid Snake etc.. And that also means new maps, such as coagulation! Mutators are a lot fun too. You can make it low gravity, make the weapons shoot faster, the more you kill the bigger your head gets, slow motion deaths, quadjump. There also mods for new game types

Seriously PS3 owners, just because it isn't an exclusive does not mean you should brush it off. I bet you if this was an exclusive, PS3 owners would have bought it on day one!

P.S. No I was not payed by Epic, I am just angry that people brushed this off and went for HAZE.....:s

You guys should definetly pick it up. You can get it for $35 now. Much better than HAZE. It is the 'halo killer' on the PS3.

it was fun, but i think its a little too fast paced. i mean if you're playin deathmatch, you're only alive like 30 seconds at a time, and thats if you're good lol._SOULtoSQUEEZE_

Haha lol But isn't halo fast paced as well? And people want a game like that on PS3. You can always play on a bigger map.....or slow down the game speed.

I know my friend who loves games like SOCOM, was so confused when playing UT3. He had no idea what was going on. lol

Not quite a fan of Unreal 3. Got it and tried it out, but wasn't really much fun (in my opinion) so I sold it back to Gamestop.dsgrce

Look at some youtube videos of some modded maps. Some look like so much fun! Example: A room with couches, shelves, xmas tree etc... except you are like the size of an insect

I was thinking about getting UT3 but when I found out that the single player mode was more or less just: you vs bots in capture the flag I decided not to get it. If UT3 had a storyline like Gears of war then I would probably buy it, the game looks great but without a real single player mode im not intrested.

and lets be realistic, you can't call a game a halo killer when it only sold a fraction of the amount of copies that halo did. I love unreal tournament but it's in no way close to being a halo killer.SmoothBrother1

lol, I said at the beginning that I just used the term to get people's attention. And they can easily be compared. It is really important for both games to jump. It is fast paced. etc...

I still don't know why HAZE was compared. Just becuase it was colorful and had 4 player co-op.

The game is actually getting better online. Before there was barely anyone. But seriously if you won't get it because you want more people online, other people are going to think like that and not buy the game as well, and go for freakin haze lol

The reason why UT3 was considered a disappointment by hardcore Ut fans on PC, was because Epic slowed down the pace. It is even slower on PS3. It is still fast, but not as fast
