is there any way to find your psn password?
that new update got rid of my password but left my sign in name up. i cant remember it. any help would be thankful

Yep. I went on to buy a game today on my PSP and got a bit freaked out when it said my saved info wasn't correct. It's just the maint. shut-down. I'm sure all will be clear eventually but Sony really should prepare an automated note that comes up talking about how they're fixing/ updating and to try back later. It's really not nice to have this random error BS going on... it confuses and freaks people out.

Go to www.us.playstation.com and get their customer support number. Call them and give them the e-mail address that's associated with the missing password and they'll give you a temporary password. Then you can change it in account management after you sign in.

I too thought this, i went to get on and it told me incorrect email/password, i was terrified somebody hacked into my account and took it over, however i called PLAYSTATION Customer service and they told me this was normal, i guess i'll find out if my password was reset when maintenance is over. However i do think this is normal.

Maintenance started at 8:05am PDT and will end 5:00pm PDT. Also, have you guys tried signing in from the playstation website? xGho5tx
