Fresh to Uncharted

Uncharted is the only ps3 exclusive I have not played, is it worth me picking it up before uncharted 2 releases?

Also, a good description of the game and gameplay would be nice.

Yes pick up UC before UC 2.

UC has treasure finding/platforming/shooter elements ala GEOW. Great story , stunning graphics. You'll enjoy it and it will prepare you for UC 2.

Dude yes, it's pretty much the flagship game for the console.

Yes, even though the story isn't directly related it will help fill in some references and also you will get to know the characters better. Uncharted had some rich character models.

Most definately, but id suggest renting it if your only going through it in preparation for the 2nd.

Think gears of war and crossed with tomb raider mixed in with its own style making it unique - overall very solid and fun.

But its the story,characters and presentation that seperates it from the rest, truly epic, and youl be dying for among theives when youve finnished.

Yes get it, besides is cheap now $30 I believe.

It's what I did recently, & now I'm mad pumped for the sequel. I'm glad I finished it before getting the last firmware update too lol. I'm still not doing it until the problems are solved.

Even if it follows in the footsteps of Indiana Jones style story telling and the sequels have very little to do with one another. GET THIS GAME. It's probably the best PS3 exclusive and it's definately one of the best overall presentations of a game I've ever seen. It's awesome.

P.S. - If the folks on this forum havent already convinced you then i dont know what will haha.

Man, I could watch Indiana Jones movies all day and still don't get bored of them, well the Glass Skull one was a bit ''meh'' but still good.

Yes GET IT! I just bought it for 30 bucks and honestly id have ZERO problem paying 60 for it. Its amazing...its like a movie that you get to play in. Cant wait for the next one.

OPINION: Yes.

DESCRIPTION: Great graphics and sound effects. Very realistic. Great AI and tough enemies. It's a little difficult, but when you beat a giant wave of enemies, it's very rewarding. Great tps action. It has a nice cover system, and unlesss you use it, you will die, quickly. Fair variety of weapons. Good platforming and puzzle solving to break up the action. Good story.

deffinately play the first one. Hell, if Uncharted 2 wasn't even coming out i would still tell you to go play the first one. Its one of the best PS3 exclusives to date.

I give uncharted 15 out of 10 :)

Please do, and you can get it cheap now thankfully, I would never pay $60 for this game, but that's just me.

Since the price for it has gone down, I decided to buy it, I'm waiting for it to arrive this weekend.

Yes get it, i played and beat it 6 times straight, and still didnt get bored of it :lol:

Well I was looking to play it again before U2 comes out next month. Since I have uploaded firmware 3.0I will see how it plays on my BC 80gb ps3.
