I turned on ps3 and saw none of my friends were online so i thought to myself thats ok. As I was playing a game I got a message from a friend but the strange part was I did not see any message saying he went online. Also when I went back to the xmb his name had the red cross meaning he was not online. I send a message back saying are you online He responds by saying yes. I then tell him your online but it does not show up on my list. Today I see nobody on but usally there is a few people that are on everyday. This started happening after the ps3 update i did. Does this happen to anybody else and is there a way to fix it?
There isn't much you can do about it other than calling Sony who will probably tell you the same thing. It will most likely resolve itself soon enough.
