I've had the HK verison of Demons Souls since Feb. 2009.... It was insane hard... I tried my friends US verison... it's so mild in comparison.. night and day...

Was it because you were still learning how to play that version and when you played the US version you already knew what you were doing?

Fascinating. Who would have thought a game would be easier the second time around?

Never beat the HK verison..... it's filled with one-hit kills... unlike the US release. Isn't the first time we got a MUCH eaiser verison of a game..

No, it's not "amped up". It's the same game. I played the Asian version before I played the North American version. It's the same exact game.

Unless it was on a different account you're fibbing... considering you don't have any trophies for it... either way ask Hakoom... he's probably the most reliable source... other then people who played BOTH verisons.. 8)

Haha, I'm not fibbing. My friend had it imported and I chose to wait till the U.S. release since I didn't want to spend $90.

here , just for you...http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/north-america-differences

and a quote, in case you dont want to click the wiki......... "The Atlus' North American (US) release of Demon's Souls is essentially the same as the Asian versions of the game (it is based on patch version 1.04),
but there are many changes to translations and new name changes."

Spending 90 bucks would be idiotic... I was in HK during the time of the release...

Either you are just more experienced with the game or you are playing as a better character.

Both versions are identical, save for some name changes.

You are incorrect, TC. The game is the exact same. There are PLENTY of one shot kills in the US version, too. If you didn't run into any of those then perhaps you got better? I know after playing the game the first time I ran through every other playthrough like a champ. That's called improvement. ;)
