so i just saw the mario galaxy review and GS gave it a 9.5. Funny thing is on the bad they said "Minimal amount of story doesn't tie everything together especially well." Isn't that similar to what they said about R&C not having a good story and they gaveR&C 7.5? LOL GS get your story straight or get rid of people that doesn't know how to do reviews.
You may call me a fanboy. But Mario is an EPIC character to the Nintendo company. Sure they said that but the main thing is Mario Gal. was different. Different controls,story,etc. While R&C I heard(haven't played it much)the same old thing. Okay your right they have new weapons woohoo.

nah your right man...super mario galaxy's is the reason i even want a wii just for that game. If it's like super mario 64 than it is such an epic game that it cannot be really touched by other platformers. no offense to anyone...just my opinion just such a unique game it's hard to reach it's level
When Mario Galaxy gets a 9.5 it is not being compared to any game on the PS3, it is only being compared to anything on the Wii and it delivers on that front quite easily.

ratchet and clank didnt have the same story as the last ones
new guns changes up gameplay (cant speak for all guns. but things like the jello gun are a nice change of pace)
but to put ratchet and clank down because it has the same feel to it as the rest of the series is just wrong.
what do all the wii fans say about mario? that its like mario 64...
and yeah i think gamespot is bias. if they gave ratchet a 9, i would have no complaints about marios review.
Yeah, I kinda gave up on believing Gamespot wasn't biased after the R&C review, they just have to give Uncharted a 7.2 and I'll have to stop referring to their reviews altogether.

okay...just got r&c a couple of days ago and no doubt it's worth alot more than 7.5 but let's not kid ourselves here, it was never gonna touch mario galaxy
t otasters choice: my neice and nephew LOVE mario games. Every game in the series since they first got their hands on my old NES and SNES. They've also played the ratchet & clank series to death starting with up your arsenal. Last week, they came over to play mario and Ratchet future. The Wii got about 1 hour of gameplay before my nephew popped R&C into the ps3. I told him to chill out and just play one game, but he insisted that he wanted to try it. ok... The rest of the day was dedicated to Ratchet. Even when I asked if it was ok that we take a break so I can show my brother the Wii, they whined about not wanting to stop playing Ratchet. When the kids were asleep, my brother (who had been looking at R&C off and on wanting to play), turned on the Wii and started playing. "Hmm" was his response. Then proceeded to turn the PS3 back on to play R&C all frickin' night. As irritated as I was at him for keeping me awake so i was tired the next day for work. Anyway, this is just one account, so think for yourself if one game really "destroys" the other one.
man i used to love mario :P but after 64 its all been the same, just looks better lol. super mario sunshine looked awesome, but it was the exact god dam same thing as mario 64, and to me super mario galaxy looks to be very similiar to :P. Ratchet and clank looks really good to, but it played the same as the old ones to if im not mistaken (could be wrong, i never really got into ratchet and clank). all im sayin is there both very similiar to there originals, but they look good, idk why they would get such a different range in scores lol.

sure.. mistake call it if you will but well if you look at the ps3 tab right now on the bottom it says most popular xbox 360.. sure.. mistakes happen all the time.. right. hmph
i am sorry but I would much rather play MArio than R&C. and all I have is a PS3. I mean lets not knock a great game because an ok game got a bad review on here. A matter of fact I am thinking about diggin in the couch for some money to go buy a Wii with MArio. Now if you were to bash Masterchief and their story there would be no need for me to post.
