Funny Story / Thank God for PS3 Being Well-Built!

A quick story that I found compelled to share:

I recently had a couple of my friends over for Halloween and we played Guitar Hero 3 all night (great game!). I had the speakers blaring, black lights, a strobe light, and afog machine. ThenI noticed the PS3 start to act funny.. I was at the XMB at the time, and it was cycling menus slowly, so I look over at it and...it's fanshad beensucking in the fog and releasing it to such an extent that itlooked like a fog machine itself (tons of fog came out of the top). I yelled "Holy ****" and kicked the fog machine over, so it faced away from the console, and shut both machines off. I turned the PS3 back on and it worked fine!

On a seperate note, I also accidentally (I swear)turned my friend's 360 on upside down, and was met with a horrible screeching sound. I quickly turned it off and flippedthe 360 over without him noticing (sorryThemIrishPeople!). But it seemed to work fine, unlike the last onemy friends andI played on...that's on it's way tobe repaired.

i dropped my PS3 when getting the case it was in out of the car, i forgot i unzipped it because i accidentally put my deodorant in there on a trip.some of the right side hangs off and i can't watch dvds lol, but i can still play games and watch blu-ray movies i assume. havent tried bluray movies just plain dvds.

This is yet another testament of just how tough the PS3 was built.

This can be added to the story about someone playing the PS3 in a sona for x amount of hours and then playing the same PS3 in a cooler for another x amount of hours without a problem.

Then there was this guy on these boards that took his PS3 on a tour of duty with him in Iraq (if I remember correctly) that went through things that the console was never designed to do in the first place.

The thing is built like a Abrams Tank.
