This only happens on my PS3 (360 is fine). When I hook my PS3 up to my tv, these lines appear over the image. Someone told me that it may because of all the different inputs going into the tv, but aside from unplugging everything, is there anyway to fix this?

PS: Whats fine on standard definition, but I'm only using that as a workaround. Plus I've tried my PS3 on my friends tv and it's crystal clear in high def.

well, if it's crystal clear in HD on your friends TV and not on yours, then I would recommend the unplugging everything trick first (it seems to be a problem with you TV)

It is possible, the tv is quite old :)

All well, the games are all that matter.

Could be interference, or you need a surge protector that cleans your electricity.

If its white lines moving up the TV its probably the cable line. Try unplugging it and see if they go away.

Sorry to revive an old topic, but I had third part component cables. I really don't think thats the problem, but does Sony sell their own?
