Game Honor

I see a lot of people complaining about "cheap" or "noob tactics" in almost every multiplayer game. There just seems to be a consensus of things that are acceptable and those that arn't. E.I. In BFBC2,using C4 on the objective is cheap. CoD MW gernade launchers are cheap. RDR killing party members/horses etc. but every game has its "hidden rules".

So what about you, do you play with honor, use cheap tactics or is there even such a thing to begin with? This only includes things designed by the developers (that means no glitches or cheating). If so, which game or why not?

I'll admit it... whatever it takes to win (playing within game rules of course, nothing like hacking/glitching).

I can't be cheap! As a lady It's tougher for me to lose(some guys are jerks) but I don't have fun if I'm cheap. Like with fighting games the guys around me seem to try much harder to win against me and even if I lose the match its still fun for me!Princess_Lime

I don't do cheap things. The only time I will is if the other team is so I just do it better than they do and win.

In the majority of online games I always choose the most powerful weapon and just spam that. I don't see how that's cheap though, everyone has access to the same weapons, and I'm usually better than the majority of the people I face with my same weapon.

I don't purposefully go around annoying the **** out of everyone online like some people, but that's not to say that I don't enjoy using the 'noob tube' every now and then just for a change of pace, or certain killstreaks that might be frowned down upon. Sometimes it's just fun to try something different for a change instead of being afraid to use a certain game mechanic just because someone might not like it.

Depends, if lets say we are playing Uncharted 2 and I just happen to kill somebody using a shotgun/grenade launcher then I will pick that weapon up and be "cheap". But ill never go right for the cheapest weapons in the game like some people constantly do over and over again clinging to the weapon like it's a life or death situation lol.

I've never understood people who camp, I just don't see the fun in it.

Scavenger, Heartbeat Sensor, Ninja, 2 x Claymores. Sit at doorways waiting for people to run through.

If I come across a camper I usually go out of my way to avoid them because they really grind my gears.

Other than that I tend to play quite decently I'd like to think. Saying that, if your going to be naff I have no problem doing it back to you.

Agreed. Glitchers and hackers really get my nerve. I mean what enjoyment do they get? "Yeah I found a way to cheat the game." Great. Campers don't bother me that much, I just find a way to get around them and take them out. You will always find them in the same spots. However people, if you play as a sniper its your job to camp. Duh.

there is no such thing as cheap or noob tactics. people refer to them that way because it is a method of winning that they are not used to, and people get angry when you use them because it is difficult for them to counteract it if you went to a tournament and said you are cheap what would you think they would say?
