ok i just got the god of chains of Olympus special edition demo in the mail. Ive been playing it for about 2 or three hours beeting the demo over and over again.Ive noticed allot of improvement from sound to the way Kratos moves.Kratos seems to more life like.Maybe its just me or are the graphics almost as good as GOD OF WAR 2!!!!!Every-time i play thru is continues to amaze me.I'm thinking it could probably be a contender for GAME OF THE YEAR!!!Tell me your thoughts...
how did you get it i haven't even gotten mine lucky stiff but i think all the fanboys will get their wish cause i think halo 3 will get the top spot this year we can't talk about next year yet because it hasn't even started but i think MGS 4 will win next year if GoW CoO has anything of winning it's handheld game of the year
well if you signed the letter sony emailed everyone with you should be getting it.I thought i wasn't getting either until today i went in my mail box and boom GOD OF WAR!!! I was soo happy i played it all day.And anyway your probably right halo or Meatl Gear solid 4 would win that.But i still think if god of war 2 could go up against Gears of war maybe juuuust maybe god of war PSp could go up against the big boyS!!!!!
I just got it today too and I really like the god of war pendant thing that came with it, very nice touch. The graphics are definitely not as good as either GoW for PS2, I don't know what you're talking about, although they're really great for a PSP game. Definitily won't win any GotY awards except maybe in the PSP-only category, you're just being fanboy-ish.
do u guys know how to unlock the extras in the demo cuz i can't seem to do it even tho i played thru over 50 timesalucard3545
You have to play through the demo 100 times to unlock, but it's totally worth it, trust me!
It's not coming this year, so '07 PSP Game Of The Year will be Final Fantasy Tactics: The War Of The Lions. Still, even if do come out this year, which I know it's impossible, I don't see why all the excitment about this game.
The first GOW was awesome, the second, cool, but this is just the same thing as the first 2. No big deal.
game of the year next year you mean. it comes out in march :( i saw the demo footage on youtube, and i think that it will definately be at the very least a strong contender for GotY. heck, i bet it will get GotY. its biggest competition will be Crisis Core.
It's ok. And this is coming from someone who likes God War games. I had high expectations from the demo but it seemed like a game I have played already but just for the PSP. If there is some kind of online feature included, then I might be more enthused.

No way FF tactics beats out SFLSin 07for psp game of the year. Ports rarely get it..
