Man, you are missing out, for sure.
My first question for you is, why haven't you? Playing other consoles (nothing wrong with that)? Too busy?
If you have other consoles, I won't bother mentioning multiplats. You are aware of those games, I would hope.
I highly recommend getting some PSN titles. Great value, wide audience, and awesome to be able to load from the HDD.
- Super Stardust HD: Great arcade-ish gaming. Very challenging. Allows for custom soundtracks.
- Pixeljunk Monsters: This one surprised me. Great to play alone or co-op with a friend (offline). Strategy all the way, and is very challenging. One of my wife's favorites.
- PAIN: Great party game. Thus far, everyone I show it to sits and almost shuns this game for the violence and brutality of it. But after 5 minutes, they are laughing and trying to grab the controller for a turn. It does fall short on maps (only one) but another is coming shortly, for free. There is great dev support for this game. So, it will only get better.
- Flow: Probably the best game for young gamers. If you ever have any little ones wanting to play your PS3, this is a title that will please them and is totally "kid friendly." Great use of the six-axis.
- High Velocity Bowling: If you've ever played an/or liked Wii's bowling, you'll LOVE this. Is more adult tuned with the characters and such. And the use of the six-axis is very innovative and works great. Also allows for custom soundtracks.
