Why is it that when gamespot reviews a game released on multiple consoles, it always seems to review the game on the Xbox 360 versus the PS3. A few games I've noticed this happening on are Dead Space, Silent Hill Homecoming, BioShock, Black site: Area 51, Lego Batman, and I'm sure more. I have yet to see a title Reviewed for the PS3 version while the X360 is left alone. Its nothin against xbox, its just kinda a bummer to not get to read recviews on some of the more popular games available. Anyway, just thought I'd mention it.

Well its not just Gamespot either, the majority of the time at ign the xbox team does the review for a multiplatform but IGN also has extra thoughts at the end of the review from the PS3 team. I don't blame GS for not reviewing both versions of the game, waste of time and money if the game is virtually the same thing on both.

I think that's what he is asking as well.
If the games are verifiably identical across both platforms, why not just copy+paste the review?
I personally have little interest in the Xbox and only visit the PS3 page for game coverage/news.
When I see no review posted for a game that has long since been released, I'm pretty much forced to visit the Xbox page if I want to get the scoop.
It sucks in my opinion.

Yeah i agree, but there's an exception. The Xbox review of LittleBigPlanet isn't published yet in comparison to the PS3's, which is even reviewed by video and text. Great job GameSpot.

umm... that's because LBP is a ps3 exclusive. 360 will never see this game.

i just don't understand if I'm supposed to assume that the game would recieve an identical score or both consoles, and if that is the case, than why is it always the Xbox that recieves the score and not the PS.
