Hey, I bought MediEvil (PS1) off of the PSN recently.....and even though it takes up 331 MB and I have over 550 MB open, IT WONT DOWNLOAD. It says I have insufficient free space. I have firmware 5.02, if that helps....I don't want my precious 6 dollars to go down the drain (hey, 6 bucks has got to be a lot SOMEWHERE). Has anyone had this problem, and, more importantly, can anyone solve it? The PS website's FAQs don't seem to address the problem, and someone said that firmware 5.01 fixes the problem (obviously, it didn't). Oh, and I also bought Castlevania SotN at the same time and it downloaded fine. Please help.

try to download it to your pc, than start the download from the pc, not straight from the site

Download with your PC, then put it on the PSP. Problem solved.

EDIT: Oh crap just read your second post, I'm pretty sure you need double the space of what it actually says.

you can still access PSN from your Mac. Just go on the playstaion store on the internet and download it from there

it doesn't matter where you bought it from; your PSN account is the same wherever you go and even if you did download it once you still have 4 more downloads of the same game left before you have to repurchase it.

550 MB isn't enough, you need at least twice the space. Just delete until you have enough space.

Like some people have said, you need twice the space to download it. Once its downloaded you can use up that space again.

ok, thanks. I'm going to copy everything to my mac, delete the stuff from my PSP, download MediEval, then put everything back on again. I have a 1 gig memory card, lol. Tell me if this method is bad.
