I was just looking at the GAMEFLY website and I was thinking about joining and was wondering if any of you are members and if it's really worth it.

Because of the PS3's current limited game selection, I'd hate to go out and spend $60 on a game, so I thought I can maybe give gamefly a try. Any suggestions, comments or advise??

Thanks in advanced!

I have a GameFly account and I love it....you dont have to worry about late fees, and i always get a game, play it for a week and send it back and get another game in less than a week.  I love it and its only like 25 bucks a month to freely rent 2 games at a time.  id say definitely check it out....click on the link in my sig and it'll help you get started!

If you have the extra cash to blow every month, it's well worth it. Plus, you get killer deals on used games.

It is kinda pricy so I don't know if its such as good deal.  Also if you live on the east coast it takes a few more days for you to get your game since they are located on the west coast.  I wish it was just $5 per a game or $6 but its like over $10 a game for  a month.

I tried it for about a month before I canceled my subscription. It is worth your while if you beat games real quick and rent them oftenly. If you just want to go rent a game once in a while stick with blockbuster or something. For me I ended up keeping a game and not playing it. I ended up paying more with gamefly than going out and renting a game. It does have a wide selection though.

The only problem I have with them was their shipping times. People on the east coast have to wait a long time between the time you return it in the mail and the time you recieve a new game. I would say Gamefly is alright. I would go with Gamznflix if your on the east coast. Plus they have movies you can rent.

I guess you haven't visited the gamefly site in awhile cause they just recently opened a new shipping center in Pittsburgh, PA. So now they have two shipment centers one in Los Angeles, CA and one in Pittsburgh so whether you live on the east coast or the west coast shipment time should be pretty good now. Also $10 to have one game out at a time isn't bad considering you can keep the game as long as you want and you can return the game and have a new one sent unlimited times over each month. Compare that with traditional rental stores that charge maybe $3 per game for a certain amount of time and if you keep it longer you get slapped with late fees, any way you slice it GF is a pretty good deal.

Another great thing about GF say a new game comes out and they ship it to me and the game disk is brand new, never been used before and not one scratch is on it now say I want to keep this game they charge me the "used" price and even though the game is brand new I get it cheap.

are you serious. They opened a new shipping center. I havent use their service in about 6 months. Wow I think I might now choose Gamefly. The only problem with them was the shipping times. now its fixed. I think they I will restart my account now.

Yep, a week or two ago I received an e-mail from GF saying they opened a new shipping center in Pittsburgh. This is awesome for me cause I live about 40 miles away from Pittsburgh so my shipping time might be one day now, when I return a game I'll find out.

Gameznflix doesn't have as good of a game selection. Keep that in mind.
