Games that are anticipated for nothing

A couple games in my opinion that are anticipater for no reason are: Alan Wake, Alien vs. Predator, Wet, and Beyonnetta. How about you guys?

MAG is overhyped. I don't see how will it add anything new apart from 256 players.

Yeah....Bayonetta.... The brain child of the lead designer behind Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe, and Okami. It's got a fraction of the anticipation it deserves. I personally would say the most over anticipated game at the moment is God Of War 3. It's doesn't look to change any of the formula from the first two games in the series. raven_squad

*rolls eyes* thats the only thing it will add! But thats a pretty big one thing! You should be excited that the largest console FPS of all time is comming to the PS3 with such numbers of players that almost qualifies it as an MMO.

I am with you on Alpha Protocol looking like crap!!! The premise is interesting...some mechanics are intriguing...but the GAMEPLAY>>>CRAP!!! I have seen several gameplay demos and they all are underwhelming. This from a game that is due out SOON!!!

It's not like your going to see 256 enemies at once though it it? You shall get split into squads so you will only probably see 10 - 20 enemies at once anyway.

Anyway, it could turn out to be the best FPS of all time, but from what I know already, it won't.

I would say the similarity between Sytstem Shock and Bioshock isn't even applicable compared to Bayonetta and Devil May Cry. Especially since the latter two both come from the same person.

It's people's taste man.
you can't get mad if someone's anticipating some game YOU don't care about.

Wet, Bayonnetta, Heavy Rain, Beatles Rock Band, Guitar Hero Van Halen, MAG, and Guitar Hero 5. IMO

Wet & Heavy Rain - don't look too fun and worth $60

Bayonnetta - looks extremly nerdy

Beatles Rock Band - I love the band to death but playing a whole setlist of only Beatles songs will get boring FAST.

Guitar Hero: Van Halen - will fail like Aerosmith, Metallica, and SmaS HITs

MAG - all it takes is like 4 people out of 200 to ruin everything, it also looks never ending (might me good thing though) [but I will most likely get for Christmas]
