IMO resistance should be made into a movie.
Game into movie - Devil May Cry, God Of War. Movie into game - Transporter. But it all comes down to how it's done and if it's done right.
I know it's not a movie but I just finished Burn Notice: Season 1 last night and that would make an awesome sandbox game.
