Games you hope have better sequels

There have been games out there, that were really bad, or just not to what we thought, but they had a good idea going for them, but feel short. And this year, it is filled with sequels. And some of which weren't amazing to begin, but hope to be improved. What games do you hope become a lot better via a sequel.

Me

Prototype 2 (had stuff going for it, but fell short of expection)

Darkspore (even though not on PS3, I found Spore fun, but get old truly fast, but this one seems to be a lot better)

Deus ex: Human Revolution (didn't like invisble war all that much, but hoping this one will bring it all back)

Final Fantasy XIII-2 (ok, lets get this straight, for me Final Fantasy XIII was a let down, taking a walk just a little to far from the other Final Fantasy games, they say they are changing a lot of things in this one, hoping they are good changes)

Ninja Gaiden 3 (Ninja Gaiden 2 was a let down for me, it got boring way to fast, hoping they will make adjustments to this one)

Tomb Raider (ok, while not a actually sequel, but a reboot, I wasn't a huge fan of the old Tomb Raider games, but I like were they are going with this one)

I truly hope these games make a come back with the sequels, I like the idea of each, just the game itself fell short

Mirrors Edge 2 (if it ever comes out) The first one was such a good and fun concept and while i still really enjoyed the first one it just felt laking on many levels

Infamous- An amazing conept but filled with repetive gameplay

Bioshock 2- GJ making Bioshock again with few differences

Batman Arkham Asylum- Game was already awesome, hope the sequel is even MORE AWESOME!

Devil May Cry 4- Kinda sucked compared to 3 and 1.

Resistance 2- Bleh campaign, great MP

Shift 2 Unleashed - I loved the first game and I've got the second one pre-ordered; it comes out in about 2 1/2 weeks. I really hope it lives up to expectations. The last few sequels I've bought have all been pretty disappointing. It's time for one to surprise me!

Beyond Good & Evil The first was great but it didn't sell well, I hope to see that change in the sequel.

Resident Evil 5 Needs to bring back the old feel of the series, it's not even a horror game with a great story anymore, it's just shooting people in the face. At least Resident Evil 4 kept it fun.

Protype has huge potential.

DMC reboot looks awesome. (I dont cry when they change the characters hair color)

Heavy Rain seemed like it was lacking something.

Neir: improve graphics and battle system, would be an awesome game.

Spiderman Shattered Dimensions, good game, i think that team has massive potential.

Grand Theft Auto V - GTAIV was such a letdown. Can't even bring myself to finish it because it's just so boring. I want "Grand Theft Auto"not "Grand Theft Boring Life Simulator."

InFamous 2 - Loved the first one but I had plenty of complaints. The difficulty was too high, collecting blast shards could grow tedious, climbing buildings took too much energy, combat wasn't as varied, etc. Judging by the trailer for the sequel, it looks like they've pulled another Sly 2 (anyone that's played through the Sly Cooper series will know what I mean).

Prototype 2 - If it wasn't for the gameplay, this game would be flat-out mediocre. The graphics, story, cutscenes, dialogue, characters, etc. in my opinion were all meh. I started skipping the cutscenes are realizing how dull they are. I hope they improve on all of this in the sequel, especially since it sounds like the developers are recycling most of the powers from the first one.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception - Just more please. But also, I'd like to see some actual puzzles in this one. The first two didn't have much in the way of puzzles. If they don't then I won't complain (the epicness outweighs any flaws).

Modnation Racers - Fix the load times, add weather effects (snow, rain, etc.)

Fallout - Use a new engine with better graphics capabilities.

I really hope FF13-2 is better than the original. What a disappointment that game was...

I also hope all the sequels I want are better than the previous installments. Games were awesome, but I just want the sequels to be even better!

inFamous - great concept, repetitive missions, sloooooooooooooooooooooooow travel, a big open world with not much to do.

Final Fantasy 13 - Why were the 'monster' battles removed? No level grinding, no sidequests, no airship, no towns, no shops. This game was such a let down it's depressing hopefully with FF13-2, it'll feel more like a final fantasy game as opposed to an adventure game.

Resistance 2 - *Yawn* campaigned just dragged on, multiplayer wern't all that either.

I liked all these games a lot, but I still hope the sequels are better:

Venom_Raptor

I had no idea another Far Cry was in the works, awesome.

I know a lot of people speak poorly of FC2, but I really enjoyed it. Granted, it was very repetitive, but there was something about driving your beat up jeep down narrow jungle roads at night and suddenly finding yourself in the middle of a firefight that was just fun in of itself, IMO.

I didn't like resistance 2, infamous and gta4.

demon's souls, uncharted, darkness and tes: oblivion ect.. are ones i enjoyed a lot and hope the next installments are even more awesome.
