a game that i miss is Everquest Online Adventures (for playstation 2) but sony isn't bringing a everquest to ps3
Trying to be PS relevant: Shadow of Destiny: A great adventure game with a great concept. Would love to see a sequel(spiritual if not direct) to this which, if faithful, would probably be better than Heavy Rain. The time traveling concept was really well done too. I don't think I've ever played anything similar to it. Urban Chaos: Granted the PC version was better, but the concept was still there. Open-world sandbox type game (before there was GTA3), where you played as a cop. I loved how you could be wondering through the city, and side-quest would open up. I remember one mission where I had to travel somewhere and on the way, there was a suicidal person atop a building. You could choose to ignore him, or since you are a cop, sneak up on him and bring him down safely. If you ignored him, when you came back from the original mission, he would have jumped and died. Thing was, if you went in a different route to the original mission in the first place, you'd miss the whole thing anyway. Awesome. Game had fun gameplay to boot. I'd really like some form of sequel to those 2 games.SphireI dont remember Urban Chaos, but I do remember its sequel Urban Chaos: Riot Response. it was a fun game. you reminded me of another masterpiece (IMO)...NARC NARC was an awesome, awesome game. you play a narcotics agent in an open world city. what i loved about the game is that you can choose to be a good cop, or a bad cop by taking drugs, getting drunk, beating up people. it was ahead of its time in that way. plus it had awesome music (including I Smoked Two Joints)
Same here. That was an awesome game!a game that i miss is Everquest Online Adventures (for playstation 2) but sony isn't bringing a everquest to ps3
barry000
lol never heard of any of these games.
I'D LIKE TO SEE SSX GAMES COME BACK TO THIS GEN. (SSX Wii doesn't count)
second of all, prepare for people with anime avatars to say some obscure japanese titles that no-ones ever heard of (they like to play them to pretend that THEY are actually japanese- even though they don't understand a word beyond 'konichiwa'. These are the types of people who watch studio ghibli films with their original dub- god I hate manga/anime fans.... I like studio ghibli though)
so how about KANENJI NO SAMUTSE KENSTAR- yeah I'd like to see that!

Actually, the 2 games arent related. They just share a similar name. When Riot response first came out, I too thought it was a sequel. Alas it wasn't.
Never heard of Narc, but then again, I haven't heard most of the games listed here :P

i guess that explains why the one you're talking about is an open world 3rd person perspective and the one im talking about is an FPS :P you know what I want back? Okami!!! how the hell is that game not back, they need to bring it back with Move ability, it should be easy to port since they already made it for the Wii, and the graphic style of the game (which is awesome and deservingly won the gamespot award for best artistic graphics or something like that in its respective year) wouldnt need to be remastered or anything.Eve
Dino Crisis
Rush & Attack
Ikari Warriors
Mega Man (I know, I know, they are working on some kind of reboot/online thing for this)
I know I went real old school on a couple, but I do miss them. *sigh*
