Games you think will fail in 2011

Ok just one massive rule on this thread:

NO HATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It what someone else think, not you, so no hate.

And truly, I think that Duke Nukem will kinda fail. Not like it will be a really bad game, but I just think people exceptions are so high for this game, that when it comes out, it will be a little less out what they think. I mean for a game that has been delevloped for over 14 years, you would think would be amazing, but I just think people will be dissappointed with this game. I mean Gearbox took it over, and maybe they would have a different idea for the game then 3D realms had. I mean I know most of the elements stayed in tact, but when a game gets transfered you never know.

Dead Space 2 and Ratchet and Clank will get low reviews because everyone will whine that it incoropoarted co-op or something just as stupid.

The obvious one for me would be CoD: MW3. It will sell well but as a game i think it will feel toofamiliar to everyone.

Deus Ex (not sure if its coming out 2011). I want it to be good but is has hella high expectations.

Bulletstorm. Doesnt look good to me at all.

Portal 2. Will be a great game but not worth 60 bucks.

Crysis 2. No open environment, not many new game changing abilities, and a very CoDish looking MP. Loved the first but i have i feeling this wont be as good.

Those are just predictions. If they do turn out good i would buy deus ex, portal, and crysis.

I don't see how MW3 will fail... yea it won't be a good game to some, but that doesn't stop the fact that (most likely) it will sell tons of copies.... as for Bulletstorm I have very low expectation's for it too.

I think Socom 4 Could Fail, I am a huge Socom Fan but i am hearing they are going towards a COD online type of play. If you mess with the Multiplayer formula that made it such a success that could equal failure in my book. I hope I am wrong becuase i sure miss a good socom game

mvc3 it has the worst starting roster ever in any fighter if they expect people to pay for the good characters then forget oneelbert_b_23

I think the last guardian will be more of a love hate thing. It will be a good game, just not for everyone.

my theory about games in 2011: any game that fail in 2011, will fail for ever. it's the sequel nightmare.

i think duke nukem won't compete. today's audience is different from yesterday's.

No I just remember the originals and they were really annoying, I wasn't relating Racthet and Clanks humour to Dukem Nukem xD I was just saying it utilized it well lol

And I definitely see Bulletstorm tanking at least a little. I haven't talked to anybody yet who is actaully excited about it. Duke Nukem may be crap, too, but I'm sure the fanboys who've been waiting for it for the past 15 years will be singing its praise from the mountain tops. MrSelf-Destruct

One game that won't be able to catch a break. Is Final Fantasy 13 part 2 given that the first one didn't please everyone since it was the first Final Fantasy on Playstation 3 the build up for this game. that when finally realeased didn't do it for long time FF fans

So making a sequel means FF 13 part 2 will "fail" since it will either continue the same formula the the First Final Fantasy 13 did.... Or Square Enix will over correct and end up dissapointing FF fans again. So a no win for Square Enix again.

Duke Nukem Forever there is no way this game cannot do anything but fail. 14 years in development this game cannot hope to succeed. Destined to fail after 14 years.

I would like to know if this topic means fail as in the game itself or its sales. I personally think Bulletstorm will not be a good game, however its sales will probably be fine and many fanboys will praise it.

One game i hope doesn't fail is RAGE. the demo looked amazing imo, hope it is

I have a lot of confidence in 2011, I think it's going to be a great year with relatively few let-downs as far as the "big" titles are concerned.

However, I am kind of unsure about the "iffy" games like Socom 4, RF: Armageddon, True Crime, Dungeon Siege 3, Prototype 2, and, unfortunately: FF13-2 and Versus. Based on what I've seen of MOST of those series', they have the potential to be very good but also total crap.

The new Devil May Cry reboot will fail so hard it wouldn't even be funny (maybe just a little :P).
