For most PSN games, this is true.
However, full retail games (Warhawk, Burnout Paradise, SOCOM, Siren, R&C:Q4B) available as downloadable titles are limited to 1 person.

Before you get rid of your current system you need to go to account management and go to system diactivation/ activation.. and then you disactivate it.. then when you get your new system you make your name and go to activate your system.

I've read your post like 5 times trying to understand what you're saying. Anyways, I think this is a bad idea. Sony did not set up the Playstation Network for you to let 5 friends download from you. The system only allows 5 playstations to activated on one account for games and 1 playstation activated for video. So say you let 4 friends download from you and you get YLOD. You're SOL. Calling up Sony and letting them know that you're system bricked and you ran out of activations will not go well. They WILL NOT deactivate those systems unless you can provide proof of purchases for those systems. I'm speaking from experience.

you are incorrect , sony did set up the system so that 5 friends can dl from you , read the instruction book , read the instructions when you dl the game do a google search and watch the video where the president of sony says you and your friends can all share the same dl

Sometimes its a really bad idea to gameshare and stuff like that. I met this guy on RB2 and he had a good amount of downloaded songs but he said he let one his friends share the downloaded stuff and it screwed up everything. So even thought the song lights up allowing us to play it forces him to quit the song before it loads because something about it not finding the original account or something.

Sony does not say that you can let up to 5 friends download your game. It says you can install the game on up to 5 active PS3s. It just so happens that you can let other people download your games if you give them your account information. Do you seriously think Sony would actively encourage account sharing? You share the games at your own risk. If something happens, Sony isn't responsible...they'll just refer you to the EULA.

Give them your account information. Be very careful though, never put your credit card details on their playstation's. That would allow them to buy with your credit card.

That's it. Once the info is shared than they should be able to share games. Will the games be there already or do they have to go and download it to get it?

Once you log in with their account or vice-versa, you can go and download the games that were purchased. Simple as that. If i'm not mistaken, there should be a [Purchased Games] tab, click on that and viola!

I havent bought any full retail priced games from the PSN store, but I bought the cheaper games like fl0w and Lumines. I shared fl0w, Lumines, and GT: Prologue with a friend and he gives me the Killzone 2 maps when he buys them.

If you suffer YLOD this is not an option.

Sorry, didn't read all of the thread... Retail games can be shared. I shared Warhawk, Burnout Paradise and 1943 (does 1943 count as retail)?
