lol that guy cocker guy sucks with a capital S..
i made up my mind about him after reading his little big planet review which said "cons:good levels would take a lot of time to build"..i mean wtf???that goes against the very founding principles that rule the world..what are the great things that can be done in a short span of time??i want him to tell us...
Not surprised, honestly. Both of Guerrilla's other home console offerings were absolutely abysmal (Killzone 1, Shellshock). I refuse to hype something from them. Yes, it looks pretty, but aside from that, I'll take the wait and see approach. I'll buy it and play it, but I'm not expecting anything great.BioShockOwnz
Did you even read the article? I am guessing not by this post.

I was thinking the same thing; the article isn't even about whether or not the game is bad, it's about Gamespot's credibility.
Which is more laughable than clowns doing backflips off the Empire State Building.
What I love the most about that article is that it's coming from a site that isn't all about the PS3 (i.e. ps3fanboy.com).
[QUOTE="WR_Platinum"]Obviously this article was head on with how rediculous the guy from GS commented about that there were no "moving objects" in the beta, he just made a ignorant xbot *** outta himself.YoungRay20
typical patriotic american reviewers lol..360 owns ps3 sucks.
Lol. Guy Cocker is English...
I haven't trusted Gamespot's credibility since the RaC:ToD review either. Although they gave MGS1 an 8.5 in 1998...

Close enough if you ask me.This only adds more fuel to the already huge fire that is "GS credibility = 0". I wish I was in the beta so I could pwn cocker :(
Hey guys,
I know that some people have picked up on the destructability/vehicles comment from the preview, so I thought I would jump in here and clear things up.
I've played the beta extensively over the last week, and I haven't encountered destructibility or vehicles that you can drive. However, as someone rightly pointed out to me, these elements WILL be in the finished game. For that reason, I thought I should tweak the original text of the preview to be fair to the developers.
I hope this clears up any confusion.

Oh yeah...He isn't here anymore....but this is a polite discussion.Gamespots reviews are not only inaccurate but they're usually late to boot. Other than the community, Gamespot is pretty much useless.

Nice try, but covering up your mistakes doesn't change anything.
I don't mean to jump the gun here, but I haven't seen a game look as good as KZ2. And I've said it time and time again, since the very first footages.. yet people still say the game looks average, standard, same as any other game?? I mean, wtf? Check your lens! No movable objects? What?! lol.. Okay.Elann2008
Before I saw the gameplay footage of the game and the beta, I thought KZ2 was just another FPS they were cramming into the PS3's game library. It's not often that watching fifteen seconds of a game can convince you that it's a must-have, and if anything, it's at least evident of being major leap in the quality of console games. It isn't surprising that it's being done on the PS3 since they seem to have planned ahead for the system to have these capabilities. Anyway, some people will say ridiculous things and, in the end, you just have to use your own judgment. That's why the forums are so useful! Sometimes I think that critics try to make a reputation for themselves by finding ways to be a little harsh on games, whether it's realistic or not. It's like the worse you can speak of a game, the better a critic it makes you, because you think you've demonstrated a higher level of perception. It's good to have high expectations for games, and giving them fair criticism establishes your credibility along with helping pave the direction for better new games. But coming down on games as a rule is just lazy reporting. KZ2 deserves credit where credit is due.

I'm confused Mr. Cocker. I've seen videos on YouTube of destructible environments from the beta, so why is it that your version of the beta doesn't include this? I was always under the impression that when a beta was released that all players were playing the same version. Can you provide any additional details?

Maybe he was just running around a map by himself?
I mean, if you don't shoot anything, nothing breaks.
Or didn't play the beta at all..?
I'm severely confused.
its just another shooter though graphics look great and it looks like the best graphics on a console game to date but honestly it seems to offer nothing other then improved graphics. and personally i don't consider scripted destruction as destruction, i prefer dynamic destruction which you almost never see in games.
in my opinion we have much better games to talk about then just another shooter.

Honestly, I don't think you need to "clear" much up. Any pro-console owners will always look for a reason to call Gamespot "biased". It's lame, but it's what they do.

Well, I'm pro-PS3, but I'm not calling him biased.
I just don't understand how he could've "extensively" played the beta and not come across any destructible environmentals whatsoever.
I mean, there's video all over the internet about it..
