4.5 !!!! come on . hahahahaa maybe too much montain dew halo edition lol XD .. i think the game is good and it deserve at least a 8. we wont get fool again
Yeah I really don't believe the score at all. I seriously doubt they let that game out the door without a usable control system. Just have to get used to it like I'm sure all the devs were.
Idk. I will rent it just to see if it is at all fun. I know that it looks amazing, so there is that. You can't have a good game without gameplay though. Also, reviews are crap. If you think you will like a game, rent it. Your opinion is alot more valuable to you then someone elses(at least in this case.)
My gripe is that none of the scores make sense, it doesn't really fit for a game to average a 5 when the only real 'problem" is the controls, tell me if I'm doing my math wrong but it seems to me like its just part of the witch-hunt against sixaxis, they never ever like it, and now they were froced to use it. Maybe Factor 5 really didn't implement it well but I seriously don't think GS can justify a lower score than some of the crap taht gets a 6 or a 7 around here which makes me disregard it completely.
I think Lair is just a game you're supposed to get used to instead of playing it for 1 hour and saying the controls are too hard, than writing a review bashing the controls.
I was even planning on getting the game anyway so i'll just play my little Warhawk...until Heavenly Sword comes out
i love the sixaxis. I dont understand why some people dont get it. I dont know. If its anything like warhawks sixaxis flight controls i would love it but they make it sound like its not even worth trying.
the game is not that bad. so what if it takes a few minutes to practice with the sixaxis. what's the big deal. i'm sure an average joe could learn to use it. i'm on mission 12 and so far...it's been a real enjoyment for me.
you guys cant trust what gamespot and IGN say about games you have to go on game review and look at how many ppl actually wrote a review take all the numbers and get an avg number and thats the actual score because gamespot also gave killzone a 6.9 and that was an amazing game
yeah i sent the guy who wrote the review a messege i just dont get how they could give Lair a 4.5 its an awesome game you just need time to get adjusted to the controls its not bad at all i would have given it an 8 or 8.5

I'll go with an unbiased review over fanboy damage control anyday. and Killzone was FAR from an amazing game. I'll still rent Lair though to see what the fuss is about. It figures, I wanted Lair and Heavenly Sword to be good, instead it turns out to be Warhawk, the game I thought would flop.
