Gamestop Rip off

Hi i just payed 200.00 for a psp which is great the rachet and clank bundle with Resistance Retribution. And the Echochrome voucher code is expired and doesn't work. Shouldn't Gamestop refund me. I am upset because that 200 was a lot of money and I want the full package!!!!!!!

When you go back to Gamestop make sure you speak to the MANAGER. and if he gives problems make sure you speak to HIS manager.

I bought a "Batman" film, and there was a voucher for a free ticket to see "Catwoman"... however, the film had come and gone. When I looked at the coupon, I noticed an expiration date. The voucher for "Echochrome" probably does too. The R&C bundle has been out ofr a long time, and the fact that you bought new-old stock off the shelf doesn't mean you are entitled to everything the package offered at launch... that would require the corporation to keep track of promotional deals for years, which is completely illogical.

My suggestion is to download the free demo of the game off Sony's store, play it, and see if you even want to bother following up on any of this. I thought the concept was great, I love puzzlers, but it honestly didn't do a thing for me... dig on R&C (a great game), and move along would be my advice.

I'm so happy I live in Norway where Gamestop needs to obey the Norwegian consumer law, meaning if they sell something that turns out to be fault and the consumer brings it along the same or next day then they are entiled to give you a new one or a refund.Treflis

I believe the term you are looking for is "a Matter of Principle", and if you really expect that to hold up in court then you just go for it... but the law will probably side with me (at least here in the US) in terms of honoring a coupon with an expiration date. There isn't a business in the land that's gonna see your side of "being fair" when it comes to an offer which is clearly marked as finite in lifespan. Move to ******* Norway.

I just recently (approximately two weeks ago) purchased the exact same bundle with Resistance Retribution and my Echochrome vouch was expired as well, but when I used the "redeem code" on the PSN it downloaded and worked just fine. Did you just glance at the expired date or have you tried to redeem the voucher? It might still work if you haven't, otherwise I'd go back and complain.Peabody99224
